How long have you been involved with The GO Deck and what is your role?
I have been working with The GO Deck since August 2022, handling the graphic design and layout for all print assets.
What other work keeps you busy outside of The GO Deck?
When I’m not working on GO Deck projects, I primarily design assets for nonprofits. I also enjoy mentoring graphic design students.
How does The GO Deck’s mission to get people outdoors resonate with you?
I feel a strong connection to the mission. I enjoy water skiing and paddleboarding, and I try to visit at least one or two National Parks every year.
What is something new you learned while working on The GO Deck?
I’ve learned how many incredible locations our cities have to offer—from historical sites to scenic parks. It has reminded me that we live in a beautiful country with endless ways to explore and connect with nature.
If a friend visited San Diego for a weekend, where would you take them?
I would take them paddleboarding in Mission Bay, followed by a trip to explore the tidepools at Cabrillo National Monument. We’d also walk the boardwalk at Mission Beach and catch the sunset at Sunset Cliffs.
