Tell us a little about yourself

Hi! My name is Kierstyn Beck and I am going into my senior year of college as a Film and Media Major! In my free time I love to watch movies and spend as much time outdoors as possible whether that’s going for a hike, paddle boarding, swimming, or camping.

What drew you to The GO Deck?

I was immediately drawn to the message of The GO Deck because it encourages and shows people the benefits of getting outside, which is something I strongly value. I also enjoy that it gives people the opportunity to come together and foster connections.

Why is spending time outdoors important to you personally?

Spending time outdoors is important to me because it helps me reset and manage stress. It has always been a hobby that I'm passionate about and allows me to create meaningful memories with my friends and family.

What do you hope to do after graduation?

After I graduate I will be moving to LA to pursue a career in the film industry. I hope to get into documentary work that focuses on nature and outdoor content or advocacy work.
